well in one of my last posts... i had talked about the cute little white kitty I had intended on getting..... well it turned out that 1. the kitty hadn't made weight (yet again) and had just been taken in to get fixed 2. I find this out after standing around in the cold for two hours and 3. she is really a he.

so needless to say, my plans were thwarted.  But while milling about at other locations to find a kitty to meet my qualifications.... mom and I came across something else entirely.  She melted our hearts and we just couldn't pass her up.

that's my new little girl.  She's a pom, but right now she's all skinny and not so fluffy... but a little love and some good food, she'll be cute as a button!

well today wasn't so good.  Well it was until I got online tonight and checked my bank account.  I'm broke.  and getting broker.  Payments that I thought had been processed weeks ago are just now popping up and I'm now in the red.  This sucks.  I had hopes for a grand birthday, and now I'm so beyond broke I can't really enjoy it.  Thankfully my mom and her fiance told me they'd buy my ticket to disneyland as a birthday gift... but unless by some miracle my paycheck gets deposited on saturday.... I have no money to play with for my birthday.  hopefully I'll get a birthday card that has some money in it... otherwise if I spend any money at Disneyland I'll have to hope it wont go through until monday when my paycheck goes in.

It's raining.  matches my mood.  Its an unfriendly storm that keeps rageing and then subsiding.... it's like it's reading my emotions.  I'm excited for the weekend... but also somehow very depressed.  I want to go and have fun, but I have no means to.... horrid way to have a birthday.  I've got just enough room on one credit card to pay for the kitten, and then that's it.  I wont be able to afford anything until payday.

with a big sigh... i say this sucks.

alrighty... so my birthday is almost here.  Thankfully, I didn't have to do much planning... it all kind of came together without much effort.  I've got a friend taking me out for drinks friday night... on her of course.  You never pay for drinks on your birthday.  Margarita night at El Torito again!!!    Then saturday... I get up early, go down and get my new kitten (so far everythings working out with being able to get her) then I've got a group of friends coming down, we're gonna go to lunch then just hang out for the day.... then.... on sunday.... I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!

It's a tradition that claire and I share.  I'm quite excited.  We haven't been in a while and it's gonna be all christmas-ed out and we can dance in the soapy snow... and do the nightmare before christmas haunted house and buy something cool from that store and then sing along with the animatronic pirates... and... and... it's just fun.  And I'm excited for it.  There may be times in a long-time friendship where people grow apart... but Claire and I are proof that even with lengths of time where you don't hang out regularly... you can stay friends.  Slowly our traditions have breathed new life into our friendship and now we as new people are becoming friends again!  So Disneyland is the latest in the traditions we share as friends.  There are a few things that work good with just the right people... and was ALWAYS wind up having fun there.

Then on Monday, my real birthday, I'm spending the morning sleeping in, then Claire and I are getting together... hopefully to watch deathproof!  Then I'm likely to have dinner with mum.... and who knows what else.  So it's promising to be a good weekend, with a good birthday set of plans, I get to spend time with all the important people in my life, no one's time is comprimised by another's and I get a good happy birthday... and everyone will get to see the new kitty! 

I've yet to come up with a name for her...

So... any suggestions on what I should name my new baby once I've brought her home?  Granted there's still a chance I may not get her... but so far, everything is going as planned.... So far mum and I have thought "Noel" works good... she's white and she'll be a christmas kitty. 

Alrighty... well that's the update for now, I may have more later, but right now, I need to bathe and sleep!!

alrighty... so work is still crap.  NO one's happy right now... everyone is stressed out and the boss doesn't make things any eaiser for anyone.  I'm looking for a new job, and got a few people keeping their ears open for me... have one lead that may pan out to something good... but only time will tell.  In the meantime, everyone's happy I'm back at the front desk, clients are happier and calmer when they go into sessions, Plus the therapists are happy to have me back on the phones to be able to actually get people contacted!  so the only downfall is that I've been moved twice and each day get in trouble for something... other than that everyone seems happy with me back at the desk!

so my birthday is just about two weeks away.  The only solid plans I have are to go to Disneyland with Claire.  Now this is something the two of us have done a few times for my birthday.  It's kinda become a tradition... and one I'm happy to stick to.  I've got a few other friends that are asking me what I'm doing... and I'm trying to figure a way to fit everyone in.  My birthday gift to myself will be a new kitten!  I've been working on getting this kitten for the last two weeks and hopefully all will go well and I'll have her home by saturday morning! 

Went to the gym again today after work.  All day long I keep telling myself, 'I don't want to go' but every monday, wednesday and friday I find myself going.  I've come to enjoy it actually.  Burns off the steam and gives me a half hour of peace and I feel better by the time I've finished my work out.  Plus that and there's a few hot trainers there... so there's always something to watch!!!  My brother actually complimented me over thanksgiving too.  He asked if I was still going to the gym and when I said I was, and on a regular basis, he said he could tell, that I was looking fitter.  It just about knocked me over to hear him give me a compliment like that.  He was plesant the whole weekend to be honest. It was nice.

well I guess that's it for this entry.  I'm tired and have the urge to write again...

alright... so I think I've finally figured this sight out! so hopefully I'll post more... now that I've got it working with me.  Right now though I'm staring at an add on this page for the miniseries 'tin man' and am suddenly pissed that I don't get SciFi... and can't watch it!! 

today wasn't as bad as others have been. I've gotten to a point with work where I just don't care anymore.  I figure if my work performance is as bad as they tell me it is... then they can fire me and pay me unemployment over the holidays!!!  I know they don't want to do that, so I don't really care about my job anymore.  I've put into effect, the 'office space' concept.  Do just enough to not get fired. Seems to be working for now.

Morgan still hasn't come home... get a call every once in a while from someone who think's they've seen her... but alas, no kitty has come home yet.  Tasha is starting to drive me up the wall though... she needs company.  I think I'm gonna be able to get the new kitten the weekend of my birthday!  She's so cute.. and mom's in love with her now too... she's just so fluffy and white and cute and I can't wait until she's ready to be adopted and I can go snag her!

Still going to the gym... the hottie that i was chasing after for a while gave me a look that said he was wondering why I'd stopped talking to him.  So I strutted my stuff around the gym for a while.  It was fun.  Gonna go again tomorrow night.  I need a night out on the town... I keep teasing all these eye candy boys that I come across... and each time it makes me wish i had someone to go clubbing with.... I wanna go dancing!!

alrighty... well it's late and I should be off to bed.  I keep staying up late to write on my geek stories.  Perhaps one day I'll come with my own original characters... instead of writing about those that someone else invented!

alright... so I took advice from a friend and started an online journal where no one from work would find it.  NOW I've just got to figure out how everything on this site works....

My cat is strange... she wasn't strange a month ago when my kitten was still around... but ever since she went missing, my other cat has gotten strange.  I need to get her a compainion.  She always acts like she hates it... but she really doesn't.  I miss my kitten.  she was the best cat ever.

Heroes only has two more episodes.  This writers strike blows.  I've got ONE show I watch on TV and it's the first show that I've never missed an episode... and now they've run out of scripts!! It's not fair......

alright... I've been writing on one of my geeky fan fictions like mad lately... so I'm off to go back to writing it!
